The Library constitutes a separate department of the “Konstantinos G. Karamanlis” Foundation and was compiled with the personal care of Konstantinos Karamanlis, at the same time that the Foundation was established in 1983. The library collection answers the need for more complete documentation of events, which the primary archive material refers to, as well as providing information to researchers, resorting only to printed sources.

The Main Collection of the Library includes over 30,000 books and periodicals, which come from purchases and donations of friends of the Foundation, as well as four significant collections of Konstantinos Karamanlis, Georgios Daskalakis, Charitonas Korizis and Dionysios Flabouras.
